Sèvres was actively encouraging the production of garden and architectural wares and these tiles may be a direct result of this support. The sophisticated printing technique, allowing variations both in colour and texture, may be by L.A.C. Macé who patented a chromolithographic process, which he exhibited with sucess in 1867. The tiles have no factory mark.","date":{"text":"1987-2006","earliest":"1987-01-01","latest":"2006-12-31"}}],"partNumbers":["1043:19-1869"],"accessionNumberNum":"1043","accessionNumberPrefix":"","accessionYear":1869,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-08-06","recordCreationDate":"2014-09-15","availableToBook":true}}
