It is part of a complete outfit that the museum holds. The donor reported that the costume belonged to his grandfather Gabriel von-Rosenberg. Von-Rosenberg was given the costume in the 1870s when he presented a bear to the Bey (ruler) of Tunis on behalf of the Russian Tsar.\r\n\r\nSilk, woven\r\nGiven by J. Sassoon\r\nMuseum no.
