The clothes are all in pristine condition and were worn from the 1950s to 1960s and show a range from baby wear to pre-teen years, approximately 12. This collection typifies the clothing of the period and clothing labels and styles of the middle classes. \n\nThe petticoat has two sections. The under section shows at the top and is a plain white synthetic fabric and is in three sections in the skirt. The overskirt section is in an opaque synthetic fabric with a green and pink floral pattern and is in two flounced sections. each section has a scalloped edging. There is an elasticated waistband. There is a small manufacturer’s label in the seam which reads, in blue, ‘St Michael Regd Lingerie’, a Marks and Spencer brand name.","physicalDescription":"The petticoat has two sections.
