This print forms part of a portfolio of caricatures, <i>Stage Folk: A Book of Caricatures by Frueh</i>, published by Lieber &amp; Lewis in 1922.  It was exhibited at the Theatre Museum in <i>Theatre Caricatures by Al Frueh: West End Meets Broadway</i>, in 1990.\n\nThis print is a caricature of the English actor-manager Johnston Forbes-Robertson (1853-1937).  He is shown here in <i>The Passing of the Third Floor Back</i> by Jerome K. Jerome (1859-1927), which transferred to New York in 1909 after it's West End premiere at St James's Theatre in 1908.","physicalDescription":"Linocut caricature of Johnston Forbes-Robertson in profile.
