Robertson describes these works as creating an illusion of scientific relationships between celebrities and ideas.  Other works using this theme include <i>The Periodic Table of Art</i>, <i>The Periodic Table of Fashion</i> and the self-portrait sculptural work <i>The Periodic Table of Association</i>.\n\nDespite the title of the work David Bowie does not occupy a cell in his periodic table.  Rather Bowie's cell exists as a separate offset giclée print, <i>The Silver Cell Bowie Special Edition, </i>printed as a limited edition of 300.\n\nAn enlarged reproduction of <i>The Periodic Table of Bowie</i> was included as the closing piece in the V&amp;A exhibition <i>David Bowie is</i>in 2013.\n\n","physicalDescription":"Colour giclée print on A0 size 350gsm cartridge paper of a David Bowie inspired periodic table.
