Embroidered patterns consist of roses, peonies, irises, narcissi and other flowers, and pomegranates, grapes, butterflies. The edges of the collar are trimmed around the embroidered patterns. The embroidery is mainly in long and short stitches as well as the pekin knot.\n\nRound the neck of the collar runs a narrower band of white satin edged with black satin from which hang 21 leaf shaped pieces of red satin, also edged with black satin. Floral devices decorate both the white satin band and its pendants.
