This altarpiece, depicting the Madonna and Child with four Saints, was removed from the Pugliesi chapel during redecoration in 1786, and is now in the Gallery of the Hospital. As the Annunciation is recorded in its present location by 1790, it is likely that it too was moved in 1786.","briefDescription":"Plaster cast relief, the Annunciation, after a glazed terracotta original by Andrea Della Robbia, cast by Oronzio Lelli, ca. 1888","bibliographicReferences":[],"production":"","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[{"text":"The Virgin Mary","id":"N480"},{"text":"Gabriel (Angel)","id":"N491"},{"text":"God","id":"N809"}],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[{"text":"Annunciation","id":"V30"}],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[{"text":"saints","id":"AAT150555"},{"text":"lunettes","id":"AAT3034"},{"text":"angels","id":"x30526"},{"text":"putti","id":"AAT250465"},{"text":"lilies","id":"x35226"}],"contentConcepts":[],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[],"partNumbers":["REPRO.1888-514"],"accessionNumberNum":"514","accessionNumberPrefix":"REPRO","accessionYear":1888,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-04-16","recordCreationDate":"1999-12-07","availableToBook":false}}
