Micromodels were readily available for a half-crown or three shillings and sixpence in a local shop. This amount was equivalent to a week's pocket money. The hobby of building them was very popular with the boys at the school aged 13 to 16.\nPeter Iveson's best models were put away when he became more interested in building model aeroplanes and kept safe by his mother.","physicalDescription":"Paper model of a static steam beam engine. The base is rectangular and has simulated brown brickwork. The floor area has pale green squares. There is one large and one small green and black wheel embedded in the floor.
