Micromodels were readily available for a half-crown or three shillings and sixpence in a local shop. This amount was equivalent to a week's pocket money. The hobby of building them was very popular with the boys at the school aged 13 to 16.\nPeter Iveson's best models were put away when he became more interested in building model aeroplanes and kept safe by his mother.","physicalDescription":"Paper model showing the layout and buildings of the 1951 Festival of Britain, including the Royal Festival Hall In yellow with a silver roof and Skylon and the Dome of Discovery (both in silver).
