The upper portion is surmounted by a cornice with two broken, arched pediments. Corinthian capitals alternate with cherub heads in the architrave, with husk pattern pendants at the corners, a detail that continues down the outer edge of the upper cupboard. The doors are divided by four fluted Corinthian pilasters, with three bays of plain rectangular moulded panelling, that correspond with the frontal doors. The central section of panelling is wider than the two side sections.  \n\nA projecting moulded cornice divides the upper and lower portion of the cupboard. The lower cupboard has three pairs of engaged, fluted Ionic columns on high, moulded plinth bases. Two round-headed, panelled double doors sit between the pairs of Ionic columns, with carved counter-sunk foliated designs in the spandrels. Plain ends with brass handles. \n\nArchitectural style of London churches by Wren and others, but possibly of Continental origin. Probably from a vestry.
