The success of these plays started his career as a puppeteer.\r\n\r\nAlthough Paul Hansard’s career as a one-man puppeteer began in 1971, he had worked with puppets before, and Paul Hansard’s puppet show <i>Johnny and Flonny</i>, about a rabbit and a little boy who was always getting into scrapes, was shown as a weekly serial on ITV’s <i>Small Time</i> when ITV aired for the first time in 1955. \r\n\r\nOver the course of his career as a one-man puppet show between 1971 and 1994 Paul Hansard created 13 shows, gave 3,971 performances and made over 200 puppets\r\n","physicalDescription":"Glove puppet of Twinkletoes.
