For this site specific project the artist painted advertisements for genuine sole traders onto walls in Shoreditch, in London's East End. Inspired by the now faded hand painted advertising signs from the early twentieth century, the new paintings drew attention to the loss of many independent local businesses and the blandness of today's homogenized highstreets.\n\nBob and Roberta Smith created this poster for Platform for Art.
