Pesce injected urethane resin of incrementally increasing density into a single mould, resulting in a series of plastic forms. The difference in rigidity meant that the first was incapable of holding its own shape, to the last being so solid it was uncomfortable. The chair has an upredictable pattern of colour due to the injection process, and features images impressed into the mould's surface such as hands and a face.
