Its superiority over rival manufacturers secured a Design Council Award for 1976.","physicalDescription":"Fire extinguisher, cylindrical with a domed top, a trigger mechanism above connected to a nozzle to direct the discharge at the fire to be extinguished.  The trigger is locked by a pin which is extracted to operate the mechanism.  The body, coloured blue to denote that the contained powder.  The range of Chubb extinguishers are colour coded to indicate the type of extinguisher.
