Barnes. Maker Atlas Lighting Ltd. A range of 18 inch, 3ft and 5ft fluorescent light fittings and attachments available in single and twin-tube ersions. Prices from £2 17s 6d for a single tube fitting to £7 18s for a twin tube 5 ft fitting (attachments extra). The Arrow-Slim range of light fittings is based on a 1 inch diameter fluorescent tube, and its extremely slim sectioned spine was achieved by the development of a new choke. This made it possible to relate a tube of such a small diameter to the size of the control gear and to achieve a matching relationship between spine and tube in both single and twin tube fittings. Original prototypes were improved upon by deleting spot welding operations and by fixing the starter switch to the spring latch which also retains the lampholder and cover. The fitting was completed and a matching range of attachments was designed following the simple rectangular concept. They include a twin tube batten with a metal pressed louvre. \n\nThe Arrow-Slim range of light fittings is based on a 1 inch diameter fluorescent tube, and its extremely slim sectioned spine was achieved by the development of a new choke.
