His attention to detail and his ability to create visually stunning and decorative costumes appealed to producers and public alike and led to a constant stream of work.","physicalDescription":"Costume design by Wilhelm for Mr Victor Stevens as Thisbe wearing an ankle-length white satin dress with sleeves of puffed white satin and chiffon and trimmed with yellow ribbon and buttercups. The dress is tied at the waist with a large yellow satin sash tied in a bow. Thisbe wears white gloves and holds a white fan. Hanging from her left arm is a heart-shaped purse trimmed in white lace, yellow ribbon and buttercups.
