Dibdin the Younger, often in touble financially, bought the shares owned by Siddons, and later those owned by Yarnold and Barfoot (who had bought Arnold's share). By 1813 Dibdin regretted having augented his shares and needed to mortgage his share to Hughes who had originally bought in 1791.","physicalDescription":"Parchment manuscript written in black ink, consisting of a single sheet originally folded four times, folded up at the lower edge, sealed with a red seal and signed near the seal: 'Charles Dibdin Jnr'. Headed top left in large ornate hand: 'This Indenture', and fixed with a GR printed stamp verso. Inscribed on the folded part that formed the front cover of the document when originally folded: 'Mr Charles Dibdin Junior to Mr Richard Hughes. Mortgage. Dated January first 1813.
