The 16-piece collection was inspired by the art and skill involved in hand-worked garments.\r\nSarah Burton, current head of design at the label, recalled how McQueen wanted to move away from the world of technology. 'He wanted to get back to the handcraft he loved, and the things that are being lost in the making of fashion... He was coming in every day, draping and cutting pieces on the stand.'\r\nThe angel print on this dress recalls a relief sculpture, with the top half of the dress worked in an opaque woven structure which flows into the light transparent layers of the skirt.
