She began her career in 1968 as a printmaking student at the University of Brighton, where she later led the Digital Media Arts course. Whether initially working out her calculations and measurements by hand or using computers as part of her processes. She began using computers to make art in the 1980s and continues to be an influential figure in explorations of the intersections between art and technology.\r\n\r\nThis abstract digital artwork by Sue Gollifer shows dark folded squares on a patterned background. To make this print, Gollifer digitally scanned layers of folded paper and manipulated their colour and textures using editing software.
