MICHAEL NOLL (born 1939)\r\n<i>Ninety Parallel Sinusoids with Linearly Increasing Period</i>\r\nUSA, made 1964, printed 1970s\n\r\nThis work is inspired by Bridget Riley’s op-art painting <i>Current</i>, created in 1964. Noll realised that a computer could produce an approximation of Riley’s artwork, which consisted of a series of parallel curved lines.
