Faced with black silk and interlined with glazed cotton. At the centre of the straight edge are two metal loops, presumably for fastening.\r\nLoose cross-over tunic of black cotton cloth with applique trimming of black velvet in orb-and-cross pattern.\r\nDraped hat of black wool twill with appliqué trimming of black velvet in orb-and-cross pattern and rolled and padded brim. Brim also stiffened with wire and cardboard.
