The garments are edged with wide cable-stitch bands. The long, narrow skirt, which flares over the knee, teamed with loose fitting tops in pastel shades sums up the fashionable silhouette for summer 1985. The hat with wired rim was inspired by a Chinese folding hat.\r\n\r\nArtwork frequently use a historical theme when planning a new collection - their inspiration has often been found in the V&A.
