The slender tapering pillars supporting the arch have Mughal-style baluster bases and are surmounted by palmette capitals painted in gold, the palmettes similar to those on the roof of the Golden Temple. A male and female deer stand at the base of each column. The design has matching borders at right and left of a flower-laden scrolling line on a deep salmon pink ground with narrow bands of yellow on either side.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Unknown","id":"A1848"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"paper","id":"x30308"},{"text":"paint","id":"AAT15029"},{"text":"opaque watercolour","id":"x35013"}],"techniques":[{"text":"painted","id":"AAT54216"}],"materialsAndTechniques":"Painted in opaque watercolour on paper","categories":[{"text":"Bonita Trust Indian Paintings Cataloguing Project","id":"THES263148"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"SSEA","id":"THES48598"},"images":[],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"009","id":"THES403676"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"design","id":"AAT102051"}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"Amritsar","id":"x31116"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":"possibly"},{"place":{"text":"Lahore","id":"x30874"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":"probably done in the Lahore School of Art"}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"ca. 1880","earliest":"1875-01-01","latest":"1884-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[{"object":{"text":"IS.3-1998","id":"O72394"},"association":""},{"object":{"text":"IS.4-1998","id":"O116674"},"association":""},{"object":{"text":"IS.6-1998","id":"O116682"},"association":""}],"creditLine":"","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"101","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"paper is irregularly cut and increases to 102 at certain points","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"68","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[{"content":"In lower right margin in pencil \"Sikh wall painting copied from work of today in the Golden Temple Amritsar.
