She works in a variety of printmaking techniques. Her works can also be found at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, as well as in private collections. \r\n\r\nThis print is a combination techniques: the glass surface is printed with silkscreen printing, with cut paper and paper sculpture underneath. The delicately printed silkscreen on the surface brings a dreamlike quality to the work, perhaps suggesting travel in real locations, as well as journeys of the mind. The theme of travel and the way the places here are shown fragmented and disrupted perhaps echoes the artist’s background as someone who doesn’t live in her native country anymore.","physicalDescription":"A map collage and a paper boat in a glass box, with silkscreen print of a castle printed on the glass.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Judge-Fürstová, Mila","id":"A15379"},"association":{"text":"artist","id":"AAT25103"},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[],"techniques":[],"materialsAndTechniques":"Silkscreen on glass and cut paper","categories":[{"text":"Prints","id":"THES48903"},{"text":"Architectural fittings","id":"THES48994"},{"text":"Designs","id":"THES48968"},{"text":"Printmaking techniques","id":"THES252987"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"PDP","id":"THES48595"},"images":["2007BR1814"],"imageResolution":"low","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"514A (VA)","id":"THES49773"},"free":"","case":"RK","shelf":"2","box":"R"}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"print","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"United Kingdom","id":"x29336"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"2004","earliest":"2004-01-01","latest":"2004-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"Given by the artist and A Gallery Ltd","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"41","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"57","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[{"content":"'A/P \"Other Journeys\" Mila Judge-Fürstová 2004'","inscriber":{"name":{"text":"","id":""},"association":{"text":"","id":""}},"date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"description":"","interpretation":"","language":"","medium":"","method":"","position":"","script":"","translation":"","transliteration":"","type":"","note":""}],"objectHistory":"","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"'Other Journeys II', print by Mila Judge-Fürstová; 2004","bibliographicReferences":[],"production":"Artist's proof","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[{"text":"boats","id":"AAT178749"},{"text":"maps","id":"AAT28094"},{"text":"castles","id":"AAT6891"}],"contentConcepts":[],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[{"text":"In this collage the printed silkscreen on the glass surface suggests travel in real locations but also journeys of the mind.
