It features many photographs taken in the preceding months, from the recording of <i>Station to Station</i> and the filming of Nic Roeg's <i>The Man Who Fell To Earth</i>. The tour started in Vancouver at the beginning of February 1976, taking in North America, arriving in Europe in April 1976, and finishing in Paris on 18 May 1976. \r\n\r\nThe performances began with a projected sequence from Buñuel and Dali's 1928 film <i>Un Chien Andalou</i>, depicting a razor blade cutting into an eyeball.
