Although no specific reference to either the play or actor depicted could be found it is possibly that the title <i>Ango</i> may refer to a play inspired by the exploits of Jean Ango (1480-1551), a French ship owner, famous for his attack on the Portuguese Fleet in 1531.\r\n\r\nThe print is part of the Harry Beard Collection.","physicalDescription":"A full length coloured lithograph of an actor dressed in doublet, breeches and hose.
