A caption below the image reads 'Mais un Prince, un Guerrier, tel que vous tel que moi, Quand il A dit un mot est cru sur sa foi'.\r\n\r\nThe lithographer is not named but all the lithographs appear to have been published by Robert Sayer, London (1772).\r\n\r\nTrained as a painter Bellecour rose to become one of the leading actors of acting company, The Comédie-Française where he made his debut in 1750.  He specialised in comic roles and acted primarily in comedies over the next thirty years. He also wrote a successful play, <i>Fausses apparences</i> (1761), and was useful to the Comédie-Française in editing and adapting the plays of others. His wife, Rose Perrine le Roy de la Corbinaye, was also a famous actress.","physicalDescription":"Printed in the centre of the page this full length lithograph shows a profile image of a man.
