Saville in the title role of <i>Jack Shephard</i> by Greenwood.\r\n\r\nThis play was one several inspired by a real life figure of the same name who was a notorious robber , burglar and thief of early eighteenth century London. He was arrested and imprisoned five times, but escaped four times, before he was finally hanged in 1724.","physicalDescription":"A full length tinsel print in which the actor is dressed in a thigh length crimson coat trimmed with metallic gold braid and with epaulets at the shoulder. This is worn over tight cream breeches and with knee high black boats and a tricorne hat. The boots are highly polished and the hat is trimmed with metal foil to give the impression of gold braid. \r\n\r\nHe is leaning backwards, with his left hand pointing at an object in the distance. In his right hand he grasps a gold pistol which is currently pointing towards the ground.
