Chesterton (1874-1936) were good friends and closely associated literary figures in 1916 when the first of <i>The Bing Boys</i> musical revues was produced in London at the Alhambra Theatre.  Belloc was raised a Catholic and Chesterton converted to Catholicism, and they were well known for working together and for bringing our similarly named publications by the same publisher. George Bernard Shaw jokingly coined the term 'Chesterbelloc' for their partnership.
