Ben. Castiglione' \r\nBrown oil paint, partly coloured in red, blue and green \r\n\t11 X 15 (280 X 381) \tDyce 346 \r\nPROVENANCE Dyce Bequest 1869 \r\nLITERATURE Dyce Catalogue no. 346 (as by Castiglione); Exhibition Catalogue Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione Master Draughtsman of the Italian Baroque, Philadelphia Museum of Art, 1971, no. 99; pl. 99 \r\nAnn Percy dates the drawing towards the end of the 1650s in the catalogue quoted.
