Square with curved ends supported on squared legs united by two flat end stretchers and one flat central stretcher. Dark oil paint is used against the beige background of the top and legs of the table to outline the contours of a <i>trompe-l’oeil</i> table with scalloped edges. Paint is also used to create fake light impressions, casting shadows underneath the <i>trompe-l’oeil</i> painted table, and highlighting the legs. The centre of the table top is decorated with flowers in three shades of pink, yellow and blue with light green stems against a grey circled background.\r\nMultiple paint stains on the stretchers and top attest of the crude nature of the paintwork.
