Hake, Print Collector's Quarterly, 9, 1922, p. 34°, no. 14). The inscription ascribes the drawing to Annibale Carracci and states that it was in the possession of Dr Richard Mead. \r\nThe handling suggests Agostino rather than Annibale, but it is difficult to assign the drawing definitely to any member of the family. It is perhaps a product of the Carracci studio in Bologna. The Signor Niccolo in the inscription doubtless refers to Nicholas Lanier.\r\n\r\n"}],"production":"","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[{"text":"Mary Magdalen (Magdalene)","id":"N482"}],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[{"text":"woman","id":"AAT25943"},{"text":"skull","id":"AAT191856"},{"text":"crucifix","id":"AAT248835"},{"text":"angel","id":"x30526"}],"contentConcepts":[],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[],"partNumbers":["DYCE.318"],"accessionNumberNum":"318","accessionNumberPrefix":"DYCE","accessionYear":null,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-04-05","recordCreationDate":"2009-09-15","availableToBook":false}}
