Around the edge of the discs are slits, all carefully spaced. In the centre is a hole through which is placed the pivot (screw and nut) for spinning. The designs are as follows; 1. Dancers, a lady in dark pink and her partner in blue and grey. Nearer the centre is a silhouette of a man beating a drum and in the centre red and yellow spots. Open slits. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 2. Woman beating man with a stick, lady in a blue dress and a man in brown and grey. Nearer the centre is a 'Squirrel in a drum'. Open slits. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 3. A man riding a velocipede, painted blue, grey and green. Nearer the centre is a geometric pattern in plae blue, yellow, orange, black and red. Open slits. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 4. MOunted Soldier, painted dark pink and blue on a brown horse. Nearer the centre is a ring of green leaves. Open slits. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 5. MAn pulling a bell rope, painted blue and brown with yellow bellow. Nearer the centre is a pattern of yellow and black spots. Closed slits. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 6. Juggler balancing a loop on their tongue (they toss a ball through the loop). Painted red, green, brown and yellow. Around the outer edge is a black line and nearer the centre is a geometric pattern of blue and black and pink. Closed slits. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 7.Horse jumping through a loop, painted brown. Nearer the centre is a man doing somersaults. Painted red and blue with a green floral design in the centre. CLosed slits with black line. It bears the words Ackermann & Co. 96 Strand; 8. Siralling dots, painted red fading to pink fading to orange then yellow, cream and blue with white in the centre. Closed slits; 9. Blue bird in flight above a ring of red and green roses. Closed slits; Man in blue jacket eating, being watched by a brown dog. Closed slits. All discs have a purple back except disc 8 which is grey. \r\nThere is an ivory or bone pivot which unscrews to allow the disc to be placed onto it.
