All pieces are cast iron which has been electroplated to give a copper and bronze appearance. The pieces are cast in two halves which are riveted together with iron pegs. Except for the engine, the wheels consist of two sets of four held in holders - the front wheels in the top of two holes and the back ones in a slot which allows the wheels to move up and down.\r\n\r\nEngine with cow catcher. A figure of the engineer is cast into each window of the cab. The engine is numbered 154. There are four small wheels and four large ones.\r\n\r\nTender, marked NYC+HR 454.\r\n\r\nPassenger Coach, marked New York Central and Hunson River, Pat. Pendg.\r\n\r\nBaggage and Smoking Car, marked New York Central and Hudson River. There are two slicing doors and a metal base fitted in.\r\n\r\nMerchants Dispatch Wagon, marked Capacity 40,000 lbs.
