The pattern was extremely popular. It won a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1957 and in 1963 it won Koppel the prestigious Der golden Löffel (the golden spoon) award. Caravel is based on the same principles as Koppel's hollowware: smooth, with no ornamentation, but full of character.","physicalDescription":"Silver and stainless steel place setting comprising a knife, fork and spoon, dessert spoon, dessert knife and fork, and butter knife, from the 'Caravel' range.
