Inside the cab is a seat for a child and a steering wheel. At the cab front are two holes, and also two holes on the sides. At the front and back of the locomotive are two wooden buffers. The tubular 'boiler' is metal, as are the two funnels, painted red, green and yellow. The headlamp is a chrome dome. The whole is mounted on a metal framework consisting of the pedal mechanism, front steering and four wheels, painted blue with rubber tyres.
