In the open driver's compartment is a black and white printed design of the controls. The roof of the compartment is missing. It has two pierced viewing holes. In the top centre of the engine is a funnel. The train has three sets of wheels, joined together. The base part of the engine is black. The engine is slotted together. Inside is a clockwork mechanism which has a large toothed wheel interacting with a pronged nut on an axle. This is attached to the two central wheels which are in turn attached by a bar to the wheels either side of them. The key is missing.
