A wooden support is clamped to the edge of a table and, through the support, are placed two wooden poles with a metal pendulum at the end. On the top of one pole is placed a pad of paper, the other pole has a cross-bar with a weight at one end and a felt-tip pen at the other. When the two poles are moved, the action pf the pendulum causes the pad and the pen to move in different ways and various patterns can be drawn by the pen on the pad.
