The front is decorated in yellow, bue and green mopa mopa resin over silver leaf, with each of the twelve compartments defined by a thick greenish line. Around the outer edge runs a narrow notch motif. Each of the twelve 'petal' compartments contains an alternating design of yellow and blue/green flowers and curling stems emerging from a heart-shape vase. In the central roundel, similar flowers surround a footed cup full of blossoms or seeds. The back is undecorated but for a layer of translucent mopa mopa. Where the wood has split four staples have been added (3 along one crack).\n\nScanning XRF showed the presence of lead, silver, calcium and traces of other metals.
