It's music composed by Francis Poulenc (1899 -1963) was described as 'tuneful and impressive, and deligted with itsinfectious and stimulating rhythms, set in a gay and sparkling mood and right up to date.' The original costumes were executed by Mme Vera de Bosset Soudeikine  - La maison Julavera. The ballet choreographed by Bronislava Nijinska (1890-1972) satirized the intimate tye of houseparty of the 1920s. The set and costumes were designed by the painter, stage designer and illustrator, Marie Laurencin (1883-1956).\nThe costumes for the three 'athlete' or young man consists of a one-piece sleeveless costume, with thigh-length sky-blue trunks and silver-grey vest stencilled with three sky-blue stripes.
