Come to Barbie in Manipur where heaven meets earth in the hum of paradise.","historicalContext":"Manipur is a north eastern area and the regional dancers wear one of the most beautiful cotumes.\r\nDark orange or green skirts are stiffened from the thigh to the ankle and decorated with gold thread embroidery; tiny mirrors are also added.  Over the skirt is worn a short, silver gauze, gathered skirt edged with a golden border.  A coloured choli is worn with a fine guaze veil draped over a special hair style.
