However  the solo does not appear among the divertissements listed on the Ballet Russes Highlights programmes - possibly the costume was, in fact, worn for the 'Russian Dance' (choreographed by Massine, music by Gliere) danced by Baronova with Lazowsky.\r\nBaronova appeared with Massine's company only in the summer of 1945.\n\nThe costume may be compared with that created for the Snow Maiden for Serge Diaghilev's Ballets Russes S. 830-1918.","physicalDescription":"Costume based on Larionov's design for the Snow Maiden -see S.830-1981 but far cruder in its decoration. A white dress decorated woth blue, red, yellow geometric applique including vertical bands down the front of the bodice.
