The costumes in the Theatre Museum collection date from the 1965 production.  \r\n\r\nThe ballet has also entered the repertoires of several other ballet companies including the Royal Swedish Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, the Ballet of La Scala, Milan, and the New National Ballet of Tokyo.\r\n\r\nA version of the ballet was performed on October 9th 1975 at the Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe by <i>Ballet For All</i>.\n\n","physicalDescription":"Costume in two parts (dress and underskirt), for A Lady in Act I Scene 3, 4, & 5, worn by Ria Peri.  \n\n<b>S.1702-1982</b>\nDress, in tones of deep yellow and orange. It has a close fitting, empire line bodice with long sleeves which flare our at the cuff. The dress has a wide, full skirt, extending into a train at the rear. It is decorated with stylised appliqued motifs, outlined with braid.\n\n<b>S.1702A-1982</b>\nHeavy terracotta coloured silk damask skirt, woven with a stylised floral pattern and with a shiny finish. The skirt is narrow at the waist, but has a wide, full skirt, with a deep, 6cm, hem.
