The jacket is gently flared with a turn-down collar and puffed sleeves tapering at the elbow and ending in deep closed cuffs, Medici-like or of demi-gigot style. A satin-lined caped is attached to the back of the collar. The jacket is lined with brushed cotton and fastens down the front with hooks and eyes. The knee britches are of matching plain satin with self rosettes on the knee bands. The britches fasten at the knee with hooks and eyes and at the waist with buttons and stitched button holes on a brushed cotton panel which also has buttons for braces.
