The mounts are of gilt brass. The door has a large mirror with applied waterlily leaves and stems carved in openwork at the corners. At the bottom of the door is a lunette containing water-lilies and leaves, the stems of which are continued in a corresponding panel beneath. Each side is divided into two panels, the upper and longer one being decorated with irises and a dragonfly in marquetry. The moulded pediment-shaped top is similarly ornamented with poppies. Inside are five shelves and a drawer. The whole rests on four slightly splayed feet.
