This was probably the handle of a Baptismal spoon.","physicalDescription":"Carved mother of pearl relief of a Cherub head, probably the handle piece of a baptismal spoon. The head of the Cherub looks left with the wings extended towards the ends of a pointed oval. An inscription on the lower part of the surrounding border reads 'GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO'. At the top is a pierced drop shaped projection on a small base.
