His figure of Venus admiring her buttocks derives from a celebrated antique marble statue that had recently been excavated from the site of Emperor Nero’s Golden House in Rome, the Callipygian Venus (now Museo Nazionale, Naples). It is an excellent cast, typical of Susini’s fine craftsmanship.","physicalDescription":"Bronze statuette of Venus Callipygos.
