The choreography for the ballet was by Adeline Genée; the music was selected from works by Gounod, Eilenberg, Moszkowski, and Delibes; the scenery was designed by Philip Howden, and the costumes were designed by Wilhelm.\r\n\r\n'A Dream of Roses and Butterflies' was an extended version of the divertissement 'Roses and Butterflies', first presented by Genée in the musical comedy 'The Bachelor Belles', at the Chestnut Street Opera House, Philadelphia on 3rd October1910.
