Its Italian title is \"L'Assedio dell'Alcazar\" (The Siege of the Alcazar) and in Spanish it is titled \"Sin Novedad en el Alcazar\" (No News in the Alcazar). Made in Rome at a fascist studio and in the city of Toledo, the film tells the story of General Francisco Franco's fascist overthrow of the Second Spanish Republic. \r\nThe Alcazar of the film's title is a fortress in Toledo, an ancient Arab stronghold conquered by Spain's Christian forefathers in the Middle Ages. This symbolic site was sieged by Nationalist forces rebelling against the Republicans in 1936.","physicalDescription":"Red background with a small white line drawing of a city.
