(222 x 190) \tDyce 309 \r\nPROVENANCE J. Richardson, Jr (Lugt 2170); Dyce Bequest 1869 \r\nLITERATURE Dyce Catalogue no. 309 (as by Mola); R. Cocke, 'Some late drawings by Pier Francesco Mola' in Master Drawings, 10, no. 1, 1972, p. 27, pl. 24; Exhibition Catalogue, Master Drawings of the Roman Baroque from the Kunstmuseum, Dusseldorf, London and Edinburgh, 1973, under no. III \r\nCocke publishes two other drawings by Mola of the same composition: the one in Paris, Ecole des Beaux Arts, pl. 22; the other in Oxford, Ashmolean Museum, pl. 23. No corresponding picture is known.
